• Our company works closely with Trading Standards Officers in a bid to reduce and if possible eradicate counterfeit or stolen goods being sold at any event we operate.

Our Company was the FIRST and so far the ONLY private market operating company to achieve BS EN 9002 accreditation.

Health and Safety
Hughmark Continental Ltd recognise the need for Public Safety and comply with Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. We also train our staff in first aid and most of the staff, including office staff are 1st Responder badge holders.

Insurance
We hold a Public Liability Insurance for each of the markets we operate currently set at up to £10,000,000 for each site.  We also insist that traders operating on our markets also carry their own Public Liability Insurance.

Charities and good causes

Hughmark Continental has been responsible for raising considerable amounts of money for local based charities and deserving causes. We recognise that for a market to be considered as being an integral part of the local community it must also assist the local community. We have raised over half Million pounds to date.
We also actively encourage local-based charities to fund raise at our markets. This has undoubtedly been responsible for raising still further moneys towards local community causes.
